We are so grateful for all the support we have received on this project. As we continue to navigate the pandemic domestically and internationally, it's vital that we are able to make progress with our East Asian water project.
After landslides hit many regions, Wenxian included, many communities faced devastation and the community in Wenxian is no different. On top of the pandemic causing stress and anxiety, the landslides destroyed the only available water source for the community making this project even more vital.
With most of the funding in place and a partner in East Asia leading the water project construction, we are taking steps needed to ensure this project can be finished by mid-November before the yearly freezes hit the region.
We are so grateful for the partners that have supported our efforts as advocates and fundraisers to meet this very basic need of accesibility to a safe, clean water source.
