This is a clean water project impacting the entire Wenxian community of 200 people through the distribution of water filtration systems
This mountain village of Wenxain is home to 200 people. These families lack access to clean water, in fact during the Winter months they are cut off from clean water access.
These families will be provided with low maintenance water filtration systems free of charge. The community will receive training on the proper use of the filtration system as we well as health and hygiene training. A clean water council will be created under the leadership of the village elder insuring the sustainability of this project.
200 people will now have access to clean water, greatly reducing the time of fetching water. This improved quality of life will have a long-term impact on health, education and economy thus improving the overall well-being of the community in it's first step towards holistic community development.
