The past few months in Haiti presented increasing difficulty as the unrest in Port-au-Prince, and the surrounding area continues to grow and expand. Safety and security are a greater concern daily, and supply lines and availability of goods strain further each day. We are grateful in this season that our water supplier is local to our region and continues delivering water promptly. Water prices follow inflation, and our costs trend upward, but we've secured quality drinking water consistently.
Our conservation measures and infrastructure improvements mentioned in the last report are paying dividends in water waste prevention. We provide for our children and staff and can minimize nearly all waste. As we await solutions to our situation, we are grateful to God and our donors faithfulness to provide access to necessities.
