We are still trying to raise the funds to purchase a water filtration system for drinking water for the children at the orphanage. We have looked at a reverse osmosis and a ultra violet light system. Both of the methods of filtration are used in this one system. The cost is $3000 for the system and installation in Haiti. This would save us time, money, and transportation. At the moment, we have to load the water bottles, put them in a vehicle, and take them to a place that fills them for us. We do not receive new bottles each time and there is a chance of the bottles getting contamination at the filling site without us being able to control how they are filled.
Diarrhea from unclean water is one of the leading killers of children in Haiti. We are fighting to prevent that from happening at the orphanage.
Help us provide clean drinking water for the children by making a donation to help us purchase this system for clean drinking water.
