Dear all -
Thank you so much for your support of HOPE International Development Agency. Today we completed Global Giving's 40 day crowdfunding challenge in 6th place, raising over £4500 for our current project in Dorza Bele. Once gift aid is included this will bring in over £5000, which is what was remaining to completely fund this water project. The project can now start in September, after the rainy season is complete.
We are grateful to all of you who have supported HOPE in the various endeavours to raise money over the past 40 days and thankful for those of you who organised and participated in the fundraising activities that made it happen. Collectively you have each played a significant part in bringing clean water to a remote Ethiopian village. This brings them improved health, time for education and economic-related activities, improved gender relations and hope for the future.
