Globallly, one in every nine people do not have access to an improved water source. Rates of water poverty are even higher in some communities and poor rural communities are the most disadvantaged. In remote areas of Philippines one in three people use unclean water. According to data from UNICEF and WHO, two in five shools lack basic handwashing facilities which puts the children at more risk of transmisible diseases during COVID-19. Our project aims to address this issue.
Currently, we have identified potential sites for this project and are looking forward to making an impact with your support. Help us abolish water poverty one community at a time in Philippines.
