Dear Donors,

We are deeply grateful for your generous support of the project to Provide Clean Water to 20,000 Kenyan Villagers. Thanks to your contributions, OLCAP was able to take meaningful steps toward addressing the community’s long-standing challenges with access to safe drinking water. Your donation made a direct impact, and we are excited to share how it has transformed life for many families.

With the funds you provided, OLCAP undertook the crucial task of cleaning and restoring springs. Given the steep terrain where the springs are located, soil erosion during rainfall often cause layers of mud and sediment to cover the springs, further compromising their quality. We employed local workers to clear this debris and restore the flow of cleaner water, improving both accessibility and hygiene.

A significant improvement came with the installation of a water pipe system. This simple and temporary solution allows residents to collect water from a protected outlet. The pipe channels cleaner water from the source, significantly reducing contamination and making it much safer for everyday use.

Thanks to your support, the community now enjoys a safer and more reliable source of clean water. This has had a particularly meaningful impact on girls and women, who are primarily responsible for collecting water for their families. Many now express a sense of relief and renewed confidence in the quality of the water they bring home each day.

Magda, a local resident who came to collect water shortly after the new pipe was installed, shared her heartfelt gratitude: “Thank you so much for cleaning the spring. This is the first time in many years I have been able to collect clean water. Diseases will now be a thing of the past.” Her words reflect the hope and optimism now felt throughout the community—thanks to you.

This work is just the beginning of what we hope to achieve in our quest to provide clean water for thousands. Thank you once again for making a difference. Together, we are changing lives—one drop at a time.
