By Antony Koskey | Founder/Project Leader
The project was launched on the GlobalGiving platform on November 18th 2024. The main aim of the project was to help the residents of Viwandani secure safe and affordable drinking and cooking water for domestic use. For years, the area has faced a plethora of issues with their water delivery systems and storage. These issues enabled the spread of waterborne diseases in the area due to no access to clean drinking water. This project was created to combat this issue so that the residents can have access to clean water and greatly improve their lives.
Since the onset of the project on the platform, it has not received any donations or connected with potential donors. It has stagnated for months, and I feel it will continue to do so. Nothing much has happened on the ground as funding has not been raised for the project. There are no new photos to exhibit the progress and impact of the project because it was unable to launch. This is the main reason why I would like the project to be deactivated.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
