Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) aims to reduce infant mortality and the prevalence of cholera and other water born diseases among Fulani women and their children who shares water from dirty sources with livestock, and currently have no support for the provision of clean water. IAA will also provide training on sanitation and water treatment.
The community is closer to having access to this live giving resource given that it has been 79% funded. IAA is contacting elites and other community members of good will to send in a helping hand so that the project could be delivered soon. Of $10,000 funding goal, we have raised $7950 and we need additional $2050 more money to install a Water Well which has already been dug.
This is dry season in Cameroon and has escalated the water crisis in the Fulani community of Foumbot because the streams are drying off due to too much sun and intense heat. That is why we must act now to mitigate the impact of climate change and adapt by building a well that will supply clean water even during draught periods in the quantity needed.
Consider making a donation today through GlobalGiving to help the Fulani people of Foumbot, we deserve peace and happiness and it would be wonderful, especially when others are happy because we change their lives and or living conditions.
Thank you for being part of our supporter community!
