Empowering Youth as Water Champions
Young people have become important advocates for clean water and hygiene in Tororo District. During this reporting period, youth participated in awareness campaigns, community meetings, and environmental conservation activities.
Training sessions equipped youth with knowledge about water safety, sanitation, and environmental protection. Participants learned how to educate their peers and promote healthy practices within their communities.
Many youth volunteers helped organize clean-up campaigns around water sources and assisted with community mobilization efforts. Their energy and enthusiasm inspired broader participation among residents.
Community leaders recognized the valuable role played by young people and encouraged continued involvement. Youth engagement is helping create a new generation of leaders committed to sustainable development.
By investing in youth leadership, the project is strengthening long-term community capacity and promoting positive change.
