Water is life and a village in Mindanao comprising about 300 households have no water source. In the past they depend on rainwater and the only spring near the village for their water needs. Providing the villagers with water means tremendous improvement in their lives. Your help is badly needed so that we could provide water to them.
A village in Mindanao comprising 300 households badly need water as their only water source has dried-up and rain has not come. The El Nino phenomenon or extreme dry condition is already starting and there is a dire need to bring water from a river about 2 kilometers away to the village by means of sanitary pipes. With water, the lives of the villagers will be improved.
The access to water is a human right and without water, local villagers are at the mercy to hunger, disease and lack of hygiene. Your help is badly needed in order for us to bring water via gravity to the village. This is simple and no external energy is needed. With access to water, the lives of local families would vastly improve.
Saving life by the provision of safe water is essential especially during disaster and during this time with the coronavirus pandemic affecting poor communities. The effect of diseases to poor communities is compounded and we need to prevent this by the provision of safe water while water sources is restored.
