Dear very valued donor,
It's June, and we are excited to announce that, in large part thanks to you, Global Health Charities was recently able to donate 1,500 Clean Birth Kits to women and infants in Zambia through the Catholic Medical Mission Board. We are very excited for the CMMB partnership and the ability to impact so many women and infants.
In the Spring, we were also able to send 1,000 kits to eleven clinics in Nigeria through the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. This is the second shipment to the sisters, who had reported that the kits had been very useful in the maternity clinics. Our work with the Daughters of Charity was featured inThe Michigan Catholic --please see the link below!
We look forward to planning for several upcoming assemblies:
Vacation Bible School at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish - Clean Birth Kit assembly
SERVE students, Ann Arbor (3 days of volunteer work, will include a Clean Birth Kit assembly)
International School of Bangkok high school reunion - Clean Birth Kit assembly
We are also getting ready to launch our GHC Birthday Club! We ask donors to consider donating just $10 per month every month. Every month, you will know you are helping a mother and her infant in another country experience a clean birth! Small donation; huge impact.
Lastly, we are busy planning for GHC's Annual Gala on Friday, October 12th at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle in MIchigan! SAVE THE DATE if you are able to attend, and email us for more info: smcadams@globalhealthcharities.org.
We cannot thank you enough for your continued support and generosity!
Patricia Williams, Founder and President
