I have just returned from Chikumbuso after being away for a year. It was so wonderful to be amongst the students at the school and to see how much they have grown physically and blossomed socially.
I arrived on Easter celebration day and was read a letter written by some of our students thanking me for what has been done in their lives.
I thought I should rather share it with you as faithful donors to our school.

Dear Mama Linda (that is what they call me),
We are firstly passing our greetings to you and we hope all is well.
We would love to thank you for making it posible for us to be in school. We are grateful for this opportunity because not everyone in the community has this chance of being educated. We promise not to let you down but be more industrious in our education.
School is going very well and we are all trying our best to go for studies after classes. One thing we promise you is that failure will never be our protion because everyone is doing their best in studies.
In conclusion, we are thanking you once more for everything you are doing for everyone of us. We promise never to fail you. May God abundantly bless you.
Yours sincerely,
Chikumbuso

The school is growing, kids are being fed, grades are being conquered, and thankfulness abounds.
Please continue to support our classrooms for as we grow so do our costs. Together, as a community, we can do this.
