What does Christmas mean to someone who is often left out of the celebration?
This question is shaping Christmas with a Smile (CWS) 2026, ATLAS Initiative's annual effort to bring joy, dignity, and inclusion to vulnerable communities.
Last year, CWS reached children in correctional centres. This year, we are taking a new direction.
ATLAS is partnering with the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), Ogun State Chapter, to plan an inclusive Christmas experience for persons with disabilities.
We have begun joint planning, identified priority needs, and started mobilising partners and resources. But the journey is only beginning.
Our goal is not simply to celebrate Christmas. We want to create a moment where people feel seen, valued, included, and remembered.
How You Can Be Part of It
