Christmas brings joy to homeless children
Christmas was celebrated in Don Bosco Nivas in a grand manner with the contribution from noble donors.
Fr. Thomas P.D director of Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society & CHILDLINE rendered the welcome address, followed by a christmas message from Rev. Fr. Stephen, (rector), highlighted the importance of christmas in these days. The whole program was a story about the birth of jesus, at the end of the program santa clause arrived and filled the entire crowd with joy and danced with great enthusiasm. All the children enjoyed the beats of " Jingle Bells" Cakes were distributed. A spectacular cultural program was arranged by the shelter home children and the staffs at Don Bosco.
Distribution of New Clothes & Toiletries
With the money raised through Global Giving we distributed New Clothes and Toiletries to 25 street children in the city. The New clothes helped the children to smile more brighter.
Christmas Feast
Delicious christmas feast was served among 25 street children in Don Bosco, with fried rice, Chicken Fry, Beef Fry, Salad, Pickle, Fruit Salad with Ice Cream
Movie Show @ Theatre
Around 25 children from Don Bosco Nivas was taken to the nearest Movie theatre to watch the super hit malayalam Movie called " Aadu 2".
