Horizon Mission Africa will give 200 children at Christian Family School, located in Korogocho, a low-income community in Nairobi, Kenya, a Christmas of hope. The project will provide a festive meal, refreshments, Christmas gifts and a joyful celebration, helping every child feel remembered, valued and included during the Christmas season.
Many children at Christian Family School come from low-income families in Korogocho, Nairobi, where parents often struggle to meet basic household needs. For some families, providing a special Christmas meal, gifts or celebration is simply unaffordable. As a result, many children may experience Christmas without the joy and sense of inclusion that other children enjoy. This project seeks to ensure that all 200 children at the school feel remembered, valued and celebrated.
Horizon Mission Africa will organize a Christmas celebration for all 200 children at Christian Family School. Each child will receive a festive meal, refreshments and a Christmas gift, while enjoying games, music and activities with classmates and teachers. By including every child, the project will create a joyful and memorable day where no child feels left out or forgotten during the Christmas season.
Beyond the Christmas celebration, this project will strengthen Horizon Mission Africa's relationship with Christian Family School and the surrounding community. It can also introduce new supporters to the school's wider needs, including nutrition, hygiene and education. Our goal is to turn a one-day celebration into lasting support that improves children's wellbeing, school participation and opportunities throughout the year.
