Es el incendio forestal mas grande de la historia de Chile. Mil viviendas, 577.000 hectareas de bosques y siete establecimientos educacionales han sido destruidos. Es urgente apuntar a la reconstruccion y ayudar a que los ninos y ninas de colegios publicos retomen su vida y en marzo puedan volver a clases. Chile is suffering from the worst wildfires in the country's history. 577,000 hectares of forest have burned. This project provides assistance to students whose schools have been destroyed.
Las escuelas afectadas por los incendios se caracterizan por atender a estudiantes de los niveles socioeconomicos mas pobres, acrecentando sus necesidades en contextos de crisis. Schools damaged or destroyed by the wildfires serve low-income families. These children are in need of school supplies.
Educacion 2020 creara "Kits de emergencia educativa", que permitan a cada nino, nina y joven dar inicio al ano escolar con la tranquilidad de contar con los materiales necesarios para su aprendizaje. Educacion 2020 will replace school supplies lost in the wildfires and distribute them to vulnerable students affected by the crisis. This will allow theses children to begin the school year on time in March.
Lograr que la totalidad de los estudiantes afectados cuenten con los utiles escolares necesarios para su ano escolar, apuntando al desarrollo de actividades practicas y teoricas en las escuelas. By addressing the immediate need for school supplies, this project ensures that students do not fall behind in their studies and suffer long-term consequences related to the wildfires of 2017.
