EMERGENCY: Thousands of people have lost their lives and thousands more have been injured in a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Turkey (Turkiye) and Syria borders. This is one of the strongest earthquakes to hit the region in 100 years. Our teams are right now on the ground and ready to respond. Homes, buildings and essential infrastructure have been destroyed across the region and children will need urgent support to access food, shelter and warm clothing.
It takes a village to raise a child. But it takes a concerned global community to help save them from life-threatening situations. Whether they're caused by the climate crisis, human-made conflicts or political injustice, children around the world are caught up in crises they shouldn't even have to deal with. Children need our collective effort and rapid response to protect them from these dangers they face.
You can give children a chance to grow up. Helping them wherever and whenever they need it. Together we can create a future which includes the best of humanity. One by one. Life by life. Child by child. By creating a global community of donors, whose support and trust translate to increased flexible donations, we'll be able to respond faster and protect longer in the face of humanitarian crises.
The Children's Emergency Fund is an essential resource as we prepare for and respond to disasters around the world - with a specific focus on children, whose needs are often overlooked in a crisis situation. By donating to the Children's Emergency Fund, you can help us to prepare better, respond faster and protect longer. Be part of our global community so that together, we give children the chance to be children.
