From Uniform to White Coat - Will You Stay With us?

Marion was once a beneficiary but now a nurse

Dear friend,

Term 2 is moving here in Mpigi and Wakiso, and I have news worth sharing.

This week 12 children received new school uniforms for the first time. Aisha, age 10, walked into class with her head high. No more fear of being sent home. That joy happened because you gave. Thank you.

But 88 children are still at risk of dropping out before June. For many families, fees and books mean choosing between food and school. We paid fees for 8 students and gave books to 25 this term. We still need $3,560 to keep the other 88 children in class through June.

You already proved you care. Now I’m asking for one more step.

This week I watched Marion graduate as a nurse. Ten years ago she sat where Aisha sits - a girl in Mpigi wondering if fees would come through. Because donors stayed with her term after term, she finished school. Today Marion trains 60 girls as Health Champions for their communities. From beneficiary to leader. From uniform to white coat. That’s what happens when we don’t give up.

Aisha is in class today because you said yes once. Marion is saving lives because donors said yes every month.

Please click the “Donate monthly” tab at the top of this page. $36 gives 1 child a uniform now. $100 keeps 1 child in class one term. $100 every month sponsors 1 child all year - fees, uniform, books - with no more emergency appeals. You can change or pause anytime.

We need $3,560 before June. Will you be the reason Aisha and 88 more children finish the year? Click “Donate monthly” and stay with us. Today’s student is tomorrow’s nurse.

With gratitude,
