We are delighted to report that the project received 12 pages of coverage in last month's Asia Geographic magazine (No. 76). Unfortunately, we cannot post the article for copyright reasons but you can download the report for USD5 at http://emagazine.asiangeo.com/eshop/index.php
If you'd like to see some of the amazing photographs taken by the project participants, please visit the PhotoVoice website at: http://www.photovoice.org/projects/international/visible-rights-afghanistan-2010.
Some of these images along with text from the participants stressing the importance of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) has been assembled into a stunning exhibition which has so far, been seen in four schools in Kabul - two boys schools and two girls. So far, our partner Media Support Services Afghanistan estimates attendances at between 10 - 15,000 students and hopes to show the exhibition in other sites across Kabul.
In addition, 300 A1 posters and 10,000 leaflets have been distributed across Kabul. Locations include Ministry buildings, NGO offices, schools and bus stops.
The project is now complete. PhotoVoice is very grateful for your support. Thank you!
