During the COVID-19 crisis, we are counting on doctors, nurses, grocery store workers, police, EMTs and many other essential services providers to make it to work every day. But, many of them can't do that without childcare. Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley is keeping its doors open to serve infants through 8th graders at its preschools and school age Clubs so parents can do their important jobs that our community needs right now while their kids are in the safe Club environment.
In our community in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley, many childcare programs are shut down or full. But, parents who provide essential services for our community still need care for their kids in order to make it to work each day.
Since the pandemic began, the Boys & Girls Club has kept its doors open to provide childcare for the families who need us most, so the people that our community counts on can get to work. At the same time, we're still offering the same outstanding quality, award-winning programming that kids in our community love and learn from. We've partnered with local hospitals, schools, and other essential service providers to make sure their workers have the childcare they need.
By teaming up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley to make sure essential services providers have the childcare they need, our community will make it through the COVID-19 crisis. You'll help a healthcare worker save lives. You'll help a grocery store employee make sure families will get the food and supplies they need. You'll help an EMT and a police officer keep our community safe. Your support will change lives and help our whole community make it through this pandemic.
