Hello, everyone! I hope everyone "Summered" well! We have some reporting out for you from the past months, and we want to tell you more about our two key programming fronts: 1) Stop the Silence's Art as Advocacy University and Community Program, written by Matthew McVarish and using the recently-finalized To Kill A Kelpie film Directed and Produced by Edward M. Smith, Matt's award-winning brother, and 2) the Road to Change - Walk to Stop the Silence, the 10,000 mile Walk conducted by Matthew to every single European Union nation (28 countries and 32 capital cities) - read on. But I also have other info to report. As usual, I have a CHALLENGE for you, which is near the bottom of the report!

4. The 34th Annual Redskins Alumni Charity Golf Tournament, at the prestigious Army Navy Golf Club in Arlington, VA, primarily benefitting Stop the Silence, was a great success!
This was the 34th year for the Washington Redskins Charity Golf Classic. This year, the Washington Redskins Alumni Association primarily supported “Stop the Silence” (www.stopcsa.org) as their primary charity. This year the Classic was held at the exclusive Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. There were 20 Teams participating, a good and not-too-scorching day for the event, a wonderful silent auction, a great meal, and a good time for all. Important funds were raised by the event for the work that we do! Yeah, Redskins Alumni! I'm a fan for life!
4. A BIG THANKS to The Nanny League for their efforts to help Stop the Silence. Go to: Nanny League Give Forward STS fundraising page. And also please visit: The Nanncy League on Facebook, and Nanny League Facebook Event.
We Continue to Need Your Help! Here's the Challenge... Help us raise $10,000 by the end of the end of the year - ask your friends, colleagues and family to help!
Understandably, we're currently raising funds on these fronts:
If you can see your way to making on-going, monthly donations of whatever you can afford, that sure would help! Ask your friends, colleagues and family to raise funds. All donations are tax-deductible through our safe GlobalGiving page. See our website (www.stopcsa.org) for other fundraising mechanisms.
We really need you. If we all do a little, we can do a lot!!
Thank you all!!
Very Sincerely,
Pamela Pine, PhD, MPH, Founder/Director, Stop the Silence
