PROJECT PROGRESS REPORT

By Akol Lucas Haron | Project Leader

CDC continues to implement its holistic intervention program aimed at transforming the lives of 180 vulnerable children. This report highlights the progress made in medical monitoring and educational support. It also outlines the critical financial requirements necessary to ensure the continuity of education for the upcoming term. Our baseline survey has identified the root causes of vulnerability in the community, which we are systematically addressing through our comprehensive care model.

As of August 21, 2026, the project has made significant strides in enrolling beneficiaries into specific support streams.

 Enrollment & Coverage

The project successfully covers 180 vulnerable children under its umbrella of care and support. Below is the breakdown of the specific support schemes currently active:

Medical Monitoring: We have successfully recruited and registered 16 children living with Sickle Cell Disease. These children are now receiving regular medical check-ups and health monitoring to manage their condition effectively.

Education Scheme: We are pleased to report that 27 children are currently enrolled under our sponsorship program. Note: The children are on holiday today (21/08/2026). The next report will include a detailed update on their academic performance following the recent examinations.

 FinaNext Steps

Funding: Secure the required $3,031.00 to cover tuition and scholastic materials for the 27 children.

Reporting: Prepare and submit the academic performance report for the 27 children in the next cycle.

Health: Continue the intensive medical monitoring for the 16 children with sickle cell disease.

Enrollment: Identify and enroll more children into the education scheme based on the baseline survey results.ncial Needs for Education

To ensure the 27 children continue their education without interruption, the following financial requirements have been identified for the upcoming term. We seek urgent funding to cover these costs:

Item Cost (USD)

Tuition Fees $1,725.00

Scholastic Materials $1,306.00

Total Required $3,031.00

The project is designed to create a sustainable and lasting impact on the children and the community.
