As the holiday season is upon us, we at Chikumbuso are preparing to celebrate with family and friends, as well as the entire Chikumbuso community - whether here in Zambia or across the sea in the U.S.. We are so grateful for all the folks who make up our circle of love and count our blessings that each of you is in our lives.
One person we are celebrating in particular is a sponsor of one of our students. She is planning a visit to Chikumbuso this year and emailed to ask us what she could bring with her from the U.S.. As usual, our answer was easy - school supplies please! Our students work so hard to come in the top of their class, they get great grades, and they do all of this without the supplies and support we take for granted. Many of our students can barely afford their exam fees, so pencils, notebooks, pens are definitely of out reach. We are so thankful for any and all donations that help us ease that burden for them.
Please consider supporting this project during this time - a time when being reminded of love, community, and thankfulness is so important. Blessings to each of you.
