School Supplies for High School Orphans, Zambia
Chikumbuso is committed to supporting the education of vulnerable children for the duration of their time in school. After our students graduate from our onsite primary school, Chikumbuso encourages them to continue their education at local high schools by covering the cost of tuition and school supplies. This means that adolescents who might otherwise drop out of school due to high costs are able to stay in school until they graduate at no cost to them.
This year, one of the high school students that we support received prescription eye glasses for the first time. Sarah is in the twelfth grade, and she is thrilled to be able to see her classrooms’ chalkboards more clearly. When she saw herself in her fashionable new frames for the first time, she couldn’t stop smiling.
You can help other students like Sarah receive critical school supplies like eye glasses, backpacks, paper, and textbooks by donating to this fund. Thank you for your continued support of Chikumbuso’s wonderful students. Your donations make a difference!
