It is a great joy for us to share with all of you great news... we recently began a friendly relationship with the Ministry of Culture of Guatemala, through which we have begun to have great benefits for the children and young people of Sonidos Para La Vida.
Among the most immediate benefits, we had the opportunity for some of our children to be invited to participate in an exciting WORKSHOP, taught by the Xocomil Quintet, a group that worked to promote and develop the musical skills of Guatemalan youth.
This workshop was given in the municipality of Santa María de Jesús, in the department of Sacatepéquez, Guatemala.
Professor Mayra Rojo was kind enough to accompany these children to introduce them to these professional musicians.
Each of the participating children lived an incredible and enriching experience, which they then shared with their other classmates.
We want to continue giving opportunities like these to many more Guatemalan children and young people, making more friends, but also having the possibility of covering the expenses that all this represents. Therefore, the help you give us is important to open all these doors to these children. Without your help we could not do all this, so we invite you to continue collaborating with us and that together we can bring the joy of music to many more children and young people who need it so much, especially in our social reality in which all of them live surrounded by so many social risks. so all our effort is required to free them from these dangers.
Thank you for trusting Sonidos Para La Vida and contributing to keep this work going. Every child and young person we reach is worth it, worth any effort we can make for them.
We are currently benefiting more than 200 Guatemalan children and young people, but much more needs to be done. Join us on this journey.
