We are so excited to report that Zikhona has landed her first job! She has been hired by a local radio station in Nelson Mandela Bay as a news reader!
With the help of supporters like you, we were able to help fund her Journalism Degree, equipping her with the knowledge and tools she needed to land her first job. During her studies, we supported her with tuition support and ongoing mentorship from our Youth Rising coordinator, Lindiwe. She completed her degree this year and after graduating she interviewed for this amazing opportunity and landed the job!
We are so proud of Zikhona's success and she would not have been able to achieve this success without your ongoing support, thank you! Your support helps us provide opportunities for youth in Nelson Mandela Bay, uplifting individuals and contributing to creating positive change in their families and communities.
