Feedback Labs' mission and programs to create incentives that encourage good feedback practice, offer tools/training, and foster a community of leaders and organizations committed to listening are rooted in the belief that people are the best experts in their lives, and they should drive the policies and programs that affect them. When done right, listening and responding to feedback can be a strong force for increased equity and getting better results for people.
One of Feedback Labs’ flagship programs includes LabStorms. LabStorms are biweekly collaborative problem-solving sessions designed to help an organization wrestle with a feedback-related challenge. Presenters share their work and questions, and attendees provide creative ideas and share similar experiences. These sessions foster collaboration, reciprocity, and community, and participants leave with fresh insights for tackling their feedback challenges.

Feedback Labs announced our upcoming Summit, Feedback+Denver. In 2024, Feedback Labs will celebrate ten years with the theme “Feedback in Community” and explore what it means to listen and act on feedback in community, with tracks focused on Learning in Community, Geography in Community, and Giving in Community. The Summit will take place May 15-17, 2024, and registration begins in October. We are currently accepting plenary and breakout session proposals for Feedback+Denver.
Feedback Labs also announced the applications for the 2024 Feedback Champions are open until October 31, 2023. The Feedback Champions Fellowship is a one-year commitment in which fellows receive training to better understand the feedback field, support and funding to speak at relevant conferences and write articles, professional coaching to pursue this work, and a community of feedback practitioners to tap into. The Feedback Champions Fellowship aims to identify a diverse set of emerging leaders in the feedback field in the U.S. and provide support as they become feedback champions in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.
Thanks to your support, Feedback Labs was able to power our programs and collectively center community voices in the feedback field. We look forward to continuing to build the feedback field and make feedback the norm in aid, philanthropy, nonprofits, and government.
