Thank you all for your generous support! To date we have raised $750, all of which will be going toward the purchase of a school bus. As many of you know, enrollment at CCF has increased exponentially and continues to grow at a rapid pace. To be precise, our numbers have gone from 45 students in 2006 to over 1,500 students today. For anyone doing the math in their head, that's over thirty times more students than we had in 2006.
While we take pride in those statistics, we recognize the importance of ensuring all of our students are given equal opportunities for success. After all, our primary goal is to transform Cambodia's most impoverished children into tomorrow's leaders. In order to do that, we must guarantee that every student accepted to our programs has a safe and reliable mode of transportation to and from school. The number one reason students drop out of our programs is a lack of transportation. We are doing our best to address this issue before it affects any more of the children and families that we hold so dear. With your continued support and generosity we are confident that every child's needs will be met.
