Conflict on the Cambodia border has displaced 40,000 families and disrupted school for 150,000 children. This project supports Teach For Cambodia to deliver urgent educational support by deploying 10 trained local teacher-leaders ("Fellows") to the affected region. Your support helps restore learning, provide stability, and build long-term leadership in affected communities. Help us bring education and hope to children in crisis.
Conflict along the Cambodia border has displaced 40,000 families and closed 605 schools, disrupting education for more than 150,000 children. While food and shelter are urgent, protecting children's futures through education is critical. Without support, they risk falling permanently behind, limiting their opportunities and deepening long-term instability in already vulnerable communities.
Teach For Cambodia will deploy 10 trained teacher-leaders to conflict-affected schools, reaching 3,000 students and their families, and 75 system teachers and school leaders. These Fellows restore learning, provide emotional support, and bring stability to children in crisis. With ongoing training, coaching and resources, they will help students recover and reconnect with education following a critical period of disruption.
Fellows become lifelong advocates for education, working across schools, government, and communities. This project not only supports recovery now but also builds lasting local leadership. It strengthens the education system's ability to respond to future crises and ensures children, regardless of circumstances, have the opportunity to learn, grow, and create a better future in Cambodia.
