Hire Heroes USA is incredibly grateful for the continued support of the GlobalGiving community. Your generosity has empowered our team to serve military members, veterans, and military spouses throughout the U.S. As individuals transition from the military and as military spouses navigate the civilian workforce, Hire Heroes USA walks alongside each client on their journey to securing civilian employment at no cost to the client. Through our career transition services known as the Partnered Career Transition Program (PaCT) we are able to provide each client with a professional resume, one on one career coaching, and a wide range of services at no cost to the clients. Each client interaction has the potential to empower clients on their employment journey.

IMPACT
From September 21, 2023 to February 28, 2026, Hire Heroes USA served 48,077 and confirmed 32,371 clients hired. For over two years, the GlobalGiving community has generously supported our team to make a difference in the lives of veterans, military members, military spouses and their families. Of the clients served, 53.1% were active duty at the time of their registration, 33.4% were veterans, 7.3% were Coast guard/reserve , and 6.3% were military spouses. No matter where a client is on their journey, Hire Heroes USA is able to walk alongside each client to help them secure employment and provide them with the tools they need for any future career search. A closer look into a client’s employment journey reveals that 80.4% of clients are still employed 6 months after their start date. This is an encouraging metric reflecting that many clients are accepting positions which align with their career aspirations and financial needs. While our metrics point to the scale of impact across the veteran community, it’s the voices of our clients that truly reveal the life-changing power of our work.

SUCCESS STORIES

Brandon, Army Veteran
Hired As: Project Manager

Saying “yes” to a job offer is very different from saying “yes” to the right job. An Army veteran and client at Hire Heroes USA, Brandon, had clarity around the type of job he wanted, however he was not gaining traction. Brandon shared “I was not getting interviews, even for roles I was qualified for.” To try a different approach during his employment search, Brandon connected with Hire Heroes USA Transition Specialist, Madison. Brandon spoke highly of his Transition Specialist saying, "Madison was great, she helped completely reformat my resume which helped tremendously and I saw an immediate difference in positive response from jobs I was applying to!” Having the right resume can be a catalyst in the employment search and for Brandon it gave him the freedom to choose the right employment opportunity. Anali, Military Spouse
Hired As: Sales Specialist

Military spouse Anali began her employment search determined to secure employment which aligned with her skills, experience, and met her financial goals. For many military spouse job seekers the journey to employment can become complex as they contend with employment gaps, numerous relocations, and a dynamic set of skills. Anali knew the value that she can bring to the workforce, she only needed the chance to have her resume noticed. As she worked with her Transition Specialist Anali discovered she didn’t have to navigate this employment search alone. “Knowing I have a coach that provides support and resources has helped me. The resume gave me a great push and the check-ins helped me stay consistent” Anali said. When connecting with her Transition Specialist, Anali shared she always felt comfortable and motivated. After working with her Transition Specialist to tailor her resume and gain helpful resources, Anali secured employment as a Sales Specialist. She shared with our team that Hire Heroes USA is a “great resource for support.”
