As part of the Care Support for 70 Seniors in Cartagena project, Restaurando las Familias continued creating spaces for older adults to spend time together, interact, and strengthen their social connections. On this occasion, the Foundation organized a general gathering that provided participants with an opportunity to share, talk, and enjoy time in the company of others.
The activity was developed as a simple but meaningful space for companionship and participation. Through the gathering, seniors were encouraged to interact with one another and take an active part in the shared space, helping to promote social connection and reduce isolation.
Beyond the activity itself, these encounters are an important part of the project's ongoing support for older adults. Creating opportunities for them to meet and connect contributes to their emotional well-being and helps strengthen a sense of community and belonging.
The Foundation remains committed to providing continued support and creating opportunities for seniors to participate in activities that promote companionship, dignity, and well-being.
