Many elderly adults in Cartagena live in extreme vulnerability, facing abandonment, chronic illnesses, malnutrition, and limited access to basic healthcare. Most come from low-income communities and cannot afford proper nutrition, hygiene supplies, medications, or safe housing. Without adequate care, these seniors experience declining physical and emotional health, social isolation, and a lack of dignity in their final years.
This project supports 70 vulnerable elderly adults in Cartagena by providing daily meals, medical monitoring, hygiene supplies, emotional support, and a safe environment.
