Greetings from ECI,
Winter in Kabul is not easy. Many of the children residing in our ECI Care Home are extremely vulnerable to the weather changes and we are taking extra care that they always have warm clothing and rooms. Despite our best efforts, winter flues are common and for children with disabilities and underlying health conditions, the recovery is always often challenging and delayed. We are grateful for all the support received through GlobalGiving donors and other donations, allowing the children to have new clothes, new beds (yes, very nice metal ones that are currently to be painted with happy colors), shoes, wood for the fireplaces and donations to cover medical expenses from doctor visits and medicines.
To learn more about our wonderful ECI Care Home, where caring for our 26 residential children with disabilities is a job without a break, please see the one-pager brochure attached.
We are warmly welcoming continued support and grateful for your kind donations.
All the best,
ECI Team
