Quarterly Progress Report for May 2020 to July 2020

 Thanks to all our donors who supported and encouraged us to continue Care and School Education of Street Children Project in Pune city. Foundation has conducted following activities from May 2020 to July 2020 for these children :

Nationwide lock down was imposed from 25th March 2020 in India and no activity was allowed, transportation was halted, schools closed down and people were asked to remain at home. In such situation poor people who are dependent on their daily income for each days food faced starvation and our children being street children are from this strata of the society. Therefore foundation started distributing food and ration kits, masks etc. taking due care.

May 2020

May is a month of 1½ month’s holiday period for schools. However, due to Covid pandemic the schools were shut down from March 2020. In period from April end and May end foundation arranges summer camp for the children to help them in their studies, development and to keep them occupied consisting of various activities. Due to Covid pandemic this year no such camp was organized.

Students were provided ready made food daily / ration kits, masks, sanitizers etc.

June 2020

Continuation of distribution of readymade food daily / ration kits, masks, sanitizers etc.

On 29th June 2020 all the children from Phulenagar area were given information about Covid virus and how to take care of self during this pandemic.

July 2020

Continuation of distribution of readymade food daily / ration kits, masks, sanitizers etc.

Support study class was conducted for the students. Children were imparted information regarding safety and taking care of self during the pandemic.
