Summary

Allied Organization-a founding body for Christ Towers Junior School Kiboga, mobilizes resources for several education needs for less fortunate children in Kiboga-Uganda. We urgently need to raise $3780 to complete two classrooms for 40 students by June 30th to give these rural children a room to learn and grow. The school has started construction of a four room block to cut down the hiring costs for rooms, and other educational technology resources to lessen rural education inequalities.

Challenge

Universal Education in Uganda is provided by the government, but a large portion of pupils living in less fortunate areas suffer inequality in education, lack teachers and resources to attend and successfully complete school. Many girls and boys are still dropping out of school due to this challenge. Donors from outside Uganda attempt to help by sending school supplies and fees which motivates a few children to attend school, yet it fails to address the large inequality challenge in rural areas

Solution

The "Care & Build a class room for 40 students" Initiative works to provide sustainable modern class room opportunities for the local children to join in a wider study resource and usage of an ICT learning center and further creates solutions to Uganda's rural education and poverty crises. We envision a highly competitive rural intellectual graduate community in which local leaders are developed who can create initiatives that address the root causes of poverty.

Long-Term Impact

The Give a Classroom Initiative reaches far past one child sponsorship because it depends on the local community cost sharing for students scholastic needs to steer positive change for all area kids and addresses the inequality challenge through model education. Christ Towers Junior School is working with local parents to build four classrooms (one at a time) and we are committed to delivering sustainable evenhanded primary education to Kyanga Village and nearby kids.
