Lecheria provides care for 200 children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability, in Buenos Aires, Argentina . Violence and discrimination are serious problems that require social educational work .
In Lecheria receiving care 200 children aged 7-18 years. They live in a context of social vulnerability and violence , sexual abuse and discriminatory practices are severe. These behaviors are reproduced in the diary exchanges between children when they are in Lecheria . With the implementation of an educational plan seek work in the construction of alternative values.
The program is an educational intervention strategy. We deployed a team of specialists. The program has been and continues to be used in educational institutions , with favorable results, but also in decreasing indicators of different types of violence among students. The most important tool is the game program . This favorably enhances creativity , concentration, learning ability , participation, and peer integration between different ages.
The long-term effects are related to the awareness of children about their rights not to be beaten or abused. Adding new values to enable them to get a different frame of reference, new conditions of possibility for change behaviors they have learned. Improvements in interpersonal relationships will enable them to better personal life, to better concentrate on studies, better chances to have a workplace. This program will be involved 200 children, their families 1600 people.
