As we pen these words, likely crafting one of our most special reports to date, our hearts are filled with an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude. At Fundación Calicanto, we have always been driven by the vision of empowering the socially vulnerable women of Panama. Today, we are elated to share that we have reached a remarkable milestone in this journey.

We are thrilled to announce the recent graduation of Class 70 from our CAPTA program. This significant achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to empowering the socially vulnerable women of Panama. Each class, each graduate, represents a step forward in our mission. Class 70 holds a special place in our path, marking a notable landmark for Fundación Calicanto.

Through these 70 diverse initiatives, we've had the privilege of impacting over 2,200 resilient women. From urban centers to serene communities spanning 10 regions, our mission has been a beacon of hope and transformation. This accomplishment, however grand it may seem, was not achieved in isolation. Our donors, like you, have been the cornerstone of our success. Your generosity, trust, and belief in our cause have not only provided the necessary funds but have also inspired and motivated us to push boundaries and achieve more. We view this milestone as a collective achievement, a testament to the unwavering support of our team, our donors, and the communities we are honored to benefit.

While we are grateful for the progress we've made with our programs, which is certainly a cause for celebration, our commitment goes beyond mere acknowledgment. We recognize there's much more to be done, especially in the face of pressing challenges. Panama, like many nations, is grappling with a migration crisis. Recent data indicates that thousands have sought refuge in our country, fleeing adversities in their homelands. This influx profoundly impacts women and their families, often exacerbating vulnerabilities and economic challenges.

This year, we've proactively responded with targeted initiatives. We implemented specialized programs tailored for migrant women and facilitated a complete training program for three cohorts that showed remarkable progress, impacting the lives of over 120 migrant women. Furthermore, we successfully launched a training program in the province of Colón, a region where the effects of multidimensional poverty among women are starkly evident. Given the prolonged challenges and evident distress in the region, we've reaffirmed our commitment to re-establish our presence and support within the community.

In closing, Fundación Calicanto remains steadfast in its dedication to stand by the most vulnerable women in our society. As we look to the future, we are not only determined to amplify our impact but also to broaden our reach, extending our presence into even more communities. Our journey has been filled with milestones, and with your continued support, we will forge ahead, ensuring that every woman, regardless of her circumstances, has the opportunity to thrive. We are here, and we will continue to be here, championing the cause of the women who need us the most.
