Thallakondapally & Masaipet Zilla Parishad School

Empowerment through Education - UK has been delivering capital projects in addition to the college bursary program over the last 8 years.
In Masiapet Zilla Parishad School , ETE has embarked on an ambitious project of building a Science and Library Block which we hope will be ready to use by end of August , and I enclose Pics -1 for your kind attention .
In Thallakondapally Zilla Parishad School a new toilet block for the Boys has been built and is fully functional and in use . This has significantly improved class attendances and also health and well being of the students. Please pics - 2 and 3.
I am pleased to report , ETE is providing college bursary for five more students from this academic year from the Thallakondapally village to pursue college education in Hyderabad.

Boys Toilet Block -Thallakondapally ZP High School

The Head Master of the School in October 2022 came up with a proposal to build a separate Toilet Block for the Boys . The existing one was often in disrepair and the students had to go to the nearby fields to relieve themselves.
In coordination with the Village Head - Sarpanch and the Parents Committee , Empowerment through Education started the project in late October 2022 and successfully completed in Feb 2023 .
Toilet compries six urinals and one WC . A continuos water supply is provided by a dedicated underground piping from the main tank . An overhead tank provides storage water for maintaining a clean envieonment for the students .
A dedicated sprtic tank was built adjacent to the Block.
The construction was well pubicised in the village and he local media a as well.

Thallakondapally School Projects-2022

Empowerment through Education has emabrked on two projects in 2022
Tree Plantation :
We felt their is a need to provide green space within the school premises . Following a consultaion with staff and children alike , we planted 34 saplings of local variety which are best suited to the prevailing climatic conditions and wiil thrive in that environment . These are the following : ASHOKA , NEEM , NEREDU , MAHOGANY .MANGO .
The children of the school participated enthusisatically along with the staff . Each sapling is protectected inorder to prevent damage during initial growing phase.
Boys Toilet Block :
A separate toilet block is under construction and we hope to finish in the next two weeks . It will have 8 urinals and one WC . A septic tank is also being dug for the purpose along with a water tank to provide continuous water for the toilet s.
The other capital projects which have been accomplised in the past are in perfect conditions and thus enhancing the learning experience of the children .
