With the commencement of the new acdemic year in July 2019 , new challenges arose due to the change in the curriculum particularly of the science subjects by the Govt School Board . In 2015 , Empowerment through Education constructed a purpose built Science Lab which was first of its kind in the district in a rural setting . Our Charity takes care of all the materials and equipment necessary for the experiements to be conducted and demonstrated by the teachers for the students of the Government High School, Taakondapally village.
Science Lab was replensihed with new material for doing chemistry experiments and also new eqiupments and Charts were purchased in accordance with the change in syllabus .
The school is fortunate to have two motivated science teachers and the students will surely benefit from seeing theoretrical knowledge being translated to live experiments.
We are proposing to hold a Science Fair for the children from the neighbouring villages in January 2020.
