The project has as a main goal to empower women with Turner syndrome through programs that are aimed at their specific needs, promoting their personal, professional and social development through workshops, courses and practical activities. The project is meant to give resources to improve their abilities, stimulate self esteem and support their inclusion in society. The training topics include self esteem and leadership.
The problem that is adressed by the project of training for Turner syndrome women is based in the barriers and specific challenges those women face to fully integrate in society, including limited access to educational, work or personal development opportunities, due to a combination of factors, that can be social, economic or health related.
1. Strenghtening of abilities and self esteem 2. Technical and professional training on social tactics 3. Creation of community networks for support 4. Awareness and social education 5. Follow up and evaluation
The project may allow Turner syndrome women to: 1.Develop practical and emotional abilities that allow them to reach full potential 2.Integrate completely into society, in a personal and professional level. 3. Breaking the inclusion cycle, contributing to a more equitable and inclusive society
