Campus ANIMA: Echo for the Future empowers vulnerable youth in Uruguay through dual education, blending school and workplace learning. With 96% graduation, 73% continuing studies, and 80% employment, our proven model transforms lives. The new campus will expand opportunities, help reduce inequality, and connect education with work. Your gift echoes forward, multiplying futures and lasting impact.
In Uruguay, only 51.6% of youth aged 21-23 finish high school, and unemployment among ages 14-24 is 26.7% (INEEd, INE 2023-24). Inequalities are stark: 82% graduation in the richest quintile vs. 22.5% in the poorest. ANIMA has already trained 860 youth with 96% graduation and 80% employment, but a new campus is needed to reach hundreds more each year and break these structural barriers.
Campus ANIMA represents an innovative solution to one of Uruguay's greatest challenges: bridging the gap between education and employment for young people. By expanding our dual education model, the new campus will integrate school learning with real workplace experience, ensuring that students not only graduate but also step confidently into the world of work. ANIMA Lab, ANIMA Company and ANIMA Campus represent the most innovative and appropriate formula for ending dropout circles in Uruguay.
With the new Campus ANIMA, we will reach 300 additional students each year. Based on our proven results - 96% graduation, 73% continuing studies, and 80% employment insertion - this means around 384 students will graduate annually, and at least 320 will enter the job market with decent work opportunities. Their success will also uplift families and communities, multiplying impact nationwide and serving as a successful model for governmental entities.
