I. General Information Workshop
Place: Oxcuztcab, Yucatán.
Population served: 28 women with the desire to become self-employed, start or improve a microenterprise.

II. Process Steps
1st Stage. Promotion
Date: From March 1° to 14, 2015
The promotion and dissemination workshop between the target on Oxcutzcab, Yucatán population, in order that they knew the benefits of corporate training was conducted.
2nd Stage. Enrollment
Date: From March 14 to April 10, 2015
Women interested were recorded using a registration form, where they recorded their personal and socio-economic, such as education, occupation, income data, among others.
3rd Stage. Training
Date: April 11 to May 3rd , 2015
Business training was provided through the workshop for self-employed beneficiaries could start or improve their microenterprises in the short term. During the workshop given with theoretical, practical and group methodology, they were used as instruments of support and audiovisual materials.
The following manuals are provided to beneficiaries:
• Human development.
• Gender equity.
• Development of the business plan.
The workshop was divided into four modules, developed as follows:
Module 1. Human Development. The person is the key.
Content: Self-awareness, self-acceptance and motivation for action.
Objective: Definition of life plan.
During this module, the beneficiary could make a work of personal knowledge and deepening in addressing the various aspects that make as individuals: biological, psychological, social and spiritual. Participants detected, evaluated and developed their skills and abilities to achieve their welfare and that of those around them, which alone had not been identified.
Additionally in this module they are provided issues of gender equity and violence prevention with the aim of creating social awareness through reflection on the importance of equal opportunities between men and women, in order to achieve free from violence and promote a new culture of quality of life through the development of productive projects with a gender perspective.
Module 2. Management and marketing. Opportunities and skills
Content: Market Opportunities, strategic planning, production and organizational structure.
Objective: Definition of the business project.
Throughout this module, the beneficiaries traced the profile of the company, and defined their goals through knowledge of the market, a key part of a company. Tools and knowledge for participants to identify their customers and their competition and opportunities for market acceptance of its goods or services and competitive advantages were provided.
They were also instructed to design production processes, operations and in developing the organizational structure of the company, in order to achieve efficient operations and ensure compliance with the objectives.
Module 3. Financial, legal and tax issues. Resources and control
Content: Costs, tax and legal aspects.
Objective: Development of the business project.
The beneficiaries met the basic controls, accounting principles and financial reporting should operate, this will allow a better control to make more effective decisions. Participants learned how to calculate the costs and the selling price of the good or service as well as the minimum necessary to continue the operation of the company sales.
They were also provided information and advice on sources of financing which may recur, according to the characteristics of their businesses as well as tax and legal aspects to give formality to the business.
Module 4. Sales and customer service. And performing impact
Content: sales strategies and business simulator.
Objective: Delivery of project business.
A structured basis was provided to the beneficiaries make sales, a vital aspect in the continuity of the business plan. The beneficiaries learned some business techniques, the reasons why people apply to make a purchase decision and the different types of customers.
In addition, through a series of dynamic exercises and skills of a good seller they will be strengthened, which will make the difference in sales success.
a. Results
This self-knowledge and new skills allowed the beneficiaries to conclude the workshop Embark highly motivated to continue the development of productive projects and translate what they learned in a draft business plan, which aims to document the most relevant information related to your business and the market. Then they can start or improve their businesses with greater chance of success.
III. Following
4th Stage. Monitoring and impact assessment
Impact measurement to be performed graduates six months after completing the workshop Undertakes, through the application of a questionnaire to assess the impact of training and in order to understand and analyze the development of the beneficiaries and their companies. Through this instrument will be obtained indicators of improvement in quality of life, number of jobs created and preserved, margin and sales, among others.
5th Stage. Performance Report
In November 2015 the final report of results of the project will be delivered, in which evidence of thanks from the beneficiary, qualitative assessments of the service received and the results of monitoring and impact assessment annexed.
