The project “Give a Livelihood Support for 570 Marginal Women” aims to provide sustainable livelihood and economic independence opportunity for Dalit and marginalized women who are already received skill development, financial literacy and Transformative Social Mobilization trainings. This initiative is designed to uplift vulnerable communities and promote dignity, inclusion and long-term resilience.
Progress Update: Since the project was posted on GlobalGiving three months ago, we have begun initial outreach and awareness efforts to share the importance and urgency of this initiative. We are grateful to share that we have received our first donation of $20 from a generous donor. While this is a modest start, it represents an important step forward and shows that people are beginning to connect with our mission.
At this stage, due to limited funding, we have not yet been able to initiate field-level implementation. However, preparatory work such as community coordination, beneficiary identification and Skills development trainings are ongoing to ensure we are ready to act as soon as sufficient funds are available.
Challenges: The primary challenge we are currently facing is insufficient funding. The project requires adequate financial resources to begin meaningful implementation livelihood support packages for the targeted 570 women. Without reaching a minimum funding threshold, it is difficult to launch activities that can create visible impact.
Future Plan: We sincerely appeal to donors, supporters, and well-wishers to contribute to this important cause. Your support can directly transform the lives of Dalit and marginalized women by providing them with opportunities for income generation and self-reliance. Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference and bring us closer to launching this impactful project.
Closing Note: We remain committed to this mission and are hopeful that with continued support, we will soon be able to begin implementation and create lasting change in the lives of 570 marginalized women. Thank you for your trust and support.
