Many children have been traumatized by the war and earthquakes. Some children now associate “school = fear” because their schools were bombed. After the earthquake, psychological care has become even more important.
Also, due to the unstable security situation, children can’t play outside freely because of risks such as airstrikes, kidnappings, and crime. As a result, many children have limited opportunities to play with friends and find it difficult to adjust to group life in elementary school, leading to high dropout rates.
That’s why it’s so important to provide a safe and secure place for children where they can play with friends, learn basic skills like reading, writing, and math, and develop social skills through fun activities. However, the importance of kindergarten is often overlooked, especially when compared to support for elementary, junior high, and high schools.
