Dear Friends,
Happy New month of September. Joy and Flavia have continued their study and I thank God for friends like you who are making this arrangement possible. Both are at Avance University in Nabweru. Flavia comments, who knew I would also Join University a midst the many challenges have gone through. I am now holding a baby called ‘’NURSE’’ to be produced after 2.5 years from now. Joyce says: All things are possible to those who believe God, I believed and received.
God’s Love Home has several sections to focus on
Primary School (has both nursery and primary section). Secondary extension those on self-study. (We can’t afford school fees to outside schools) and those on vocational studies doing hair dressing and tailoring. A total of 60 in all. 46 in our home and 14 outside under guardianship. Of those older than Primary, 8 are in other schools being supported on fees by generous friends like you. 12 on self-study at GLH (7 of these are currently doing the National S4 Exams) P7 Exams are in November as are S6
GLH provides Education, feeding, housing, medical and security support to these children in very hard situation but I am glad you are always there to stand with us in all situations. Some of these children have different health challenges including HIV Aids, Sickle-cells disease, Epilepsy etc. Sadly, one of the girls aged 10, Gloria, died on 02.10.2026. Gloria has been battling with Sickle-cell since childhood and all efforts invested in her have ended like that but we thank God for her life and pray for comfort to GLH and her guardian. 1 Peter 1:6 has been special. A really sad time for us all
Do you feel that God can use you to support and guide my visit to your country to physically share my vision with any group, your church or friends? I am available at your point recommendation. This vision of GLH was birthed from my personal experience as an orphan, lived in an orphanage, supported by catholic priest, Joseph, graduating as teacher in 2007. So much has happened since then: we nearly went bankrupt but, with enormous support from many, have gone from strength to strength. We have so, so much to be grateful for
1. Comfort in this challenging time of loss.
2. Upcoming exams (uneb) now started for S.4 class, November for S.6 and Primary 7
3. Upcoming learning sessions with Jeanette to be a success ( Youth are excited to learn from her)
Praise 1-All of children under our direct care have been fed, clothed, educated and loved
