With your support, KCDC is expanding to transform the lives of even more children with disabilities in rural Uganda.
Following a thorough evaluation of our impact, we've made an exciting decision: to expand our services by providing intensive, comprehensive support to 6 priority schools. This expansion represents a proven model that works—and with the continued commitment of donors like you, we can scale our success.
What your donations are providing to each school:
This level of support doesn't just open doors—it transforms entire school communities. Each priority school can now significantly expand the number of children with disabilities who can access quality education.
But our reach extends beyond the classroom. Our ISTs run regular 'pop-up' classrooms in communities, encouraging children not yet in school to take that crucial first step toward education. They also conduct home visits and awareness-raising workshops to find the 'hidden' children—those with disabilities who remain invisible and unreached.
We're already seeing remarkable progress. So far, we have opened 2 Inclusive Support Centres and are currently building a third! Our ISTs are in place and actively supporting these schools on their journey to becoming fully inclusive. The impact is already being felt: more children with disabilities are not only enrolling in school but thriving—socially integrating with their peers and succeeding in their learning.
Your continued support makes this transformation possible. With your help, we can complete all 6 priority schools and reach even more children. Every contribution helps us build a more inclusive future where no child is left behind.
Will you join us in expanding this life-changing work?
