Rumah Zakat Distributes Sanitation Facilities in Keurumbok Village, Aceh

Bireuen, Aceh – Rumah Zakat, in collaboration with PT JGC Indonesia through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, distributed eight sanitation facilities (showers, washing areas, and toilets) to flood-affected communities in Keurumbok Village, Kuta Blang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province.

This assistance aims to improve community access to proper, healthy, and safe sanitation facilities. The presence of these sanitation facilities is expected to support clean and healthy living patterns and reduce the risk of diseases caused by inadequate sanitation. The construction of these sanitation facilities will take 7 days and will be inaugurated by the local government.

This program is a form of PT JGC Indonesia's concern for the welfare of the community, particularly in the field of environmental health, which is channeled through Rumah Zakat as an implementing partner.

A representative of Rumah Zakat expressed their appreciation and gratitude to PT JGC Indonesia for the trust and support given. “We hope that these toilet facilities can be optimally utilized by the community and maintained together for the sustainability of their benefits,” he said.

The community of Keurumbok Village welcomed this assistance and expressed their gratitude for the attention given. With the availability of these sanitation facilities, it is hoped that the quality of life for residents will improve.
