In this last three month period our Organization (Kassanda Children’s Aid) has been so busy in the community we managed to feed 25 people and 36 people received clothes from our team of people after preaching the gospel to show love to the vulnerable ones from Kampala City. Also 30 children got school fees to study in the second term of the year 2023.
One family, Aminah and her three children received a well-built home and was given all the basic necessities items that we normally give, including solar lighting. They are now happy and healthy in their own house.
At our orphanage school (Seed Junior School) we have managed to secure 15 triple beds to be put in the newly built dorm for our girls at school. We got two tanks installed to harvest water for school use, with no well, we have to depend on the rain water supply. Lastly, our solar system has been installed in the dorm. Second term started on May 29th, 2023.
We are still brain storming ways for our single mothers to earn a living for their daily needs on the farm. We had hoped a piggery but the funding didn't come and looked into soap making but not sure it's sustainable.
Thank you for always believing in us and our work. Your support is appreciated and the cornerstone of all we do. May the Lord bless you immensely!
