Story / Update

A beautiful new place of worship has been added to the community of Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan, with the successful construction of Masjid Al-Wadud.

The mosque provides a peaceful and dignified environment where community members can gather for prayers, religious activities, and spiritual reflection. It also serves as a place that brings people together, strengthening community bonds and fostering a sense of unity and belonging.

This initiative reflects Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan's commitment to supporting communities by developing spaces that contribute to their spiritual and social well-being.

The project was made possible through the collaboration of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and One Ummah Charity, demonstrating the positive impact of partnership and collective efforts in serving communities.

Title: New Community Center Established in Dera Ismail Khan to Serve 500+ People

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation has successfully established a new Community Center in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), providing a dedicated space for worship and education. The facility will accommodate 500+ individuals for prayers and offer religious education to 100 children.

Story / Update

Access to proper community spaces is essential for both spiritual growth and educational development. In many areas, the absence of such facilities limits opportunities for collective worship and structured learning for children.

To address this need, Alkhidmat Foundation established a Community Center in DI Khan, designed to serve as a hub for religious and community activities. The center provides a peaceful and organized space where over 500 people can offer prayers at a time, including daily and Friday congregations.

In addition, the center will offer religious education to 100 children, helping them learn Quranic teachings and moral values in a supportive environment. This initiative aims to nurture both spiritual well-being and character development among the younger generation.

The center will also be used for important community gatherings such as Ramadan activities, Eid prayers, and other social and religious events, strengthening unity and connection within the community.

New Community center in North Waziristan

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation has initiated the development of a New Community Center inNorth Waziristan, designed to serve as a dedicated space for prayers, Eid celebrations, Nikah ceremonies, community gatherings, and education.

This center will provide a safe, dignified, and accessible facility for the local community—especially in an area where such communal spaces are limited due to geographical and economic challenges.

Story / Update

Chitral’s remote mountainous region has long faced a shortage of community spaces where families can gather for worship, ceremonies, and religious learning. Many residents struggle to find proper venues for offering prayers, hosting Nikah ceremonies, celebrating Eid, or arranging Quran classes and religious sessions.

To fulfill this essential community need, Alkhidmat Foundation has begun work on a New Community Center in Chitral.
The center will be used for:

Daily and congregational prayers
Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha celebrations
Nikah ceremonies and community events
Quran education for children and adults
Quran learning, Hadith sessions, and Islamic awareness programs

This initiative will help preserve religious values, strengthen community bonds, and offer families a respectful environment for worship and social unity.

Local residents have warmly welcomed the project, expressing gratitude for a long-awaited facility that will serve as a spiritual and communal hub for years to come.

Beneficiaries

Direct Impact: Approximately 250–300 community members will directly benefit from the center’s religious and social activities.

Indirect Impact: Hundreds more from surrounding villages will benefit during larger events such as Eid prayers and community gatherings.
